Left Brain - Right BrainWow. I can’t believe I would ever let a left-brain discussion ever set foot on this sacred creative ground.

However, I forgot one very important issue that goes hand in hand with content development: grammar.

While we’re creating all of this glorious content, we have to keep grammar in mind, which is definitely a left-brain activity.

However, I’ll give you tips for editing that will help you, and I’ll try to take the “bite” out of grammar. Believe it or not, grammar is fun for me, and I’ll try to make it fun for you.

I’m not an “expert” by any means, but I’m loaded with grammar books and a subscription to the online version of The Chicago Manual of Style. I’ve been a writer and editor for a long time, so I do have quite a lot of experience under my belt. We’re ready for BEAR.

Isn’t that the coolest picture of a brain you’ve ever seen? It really makes a vivid point of the difference between left brain and right brain activities.

It’s difficult to see since Martin had to shrink the graphic down, but there’s even a guy using a laptop sitting on the grass.

Doesn’t that say a lot?

Yes Robin, that is a really cool picture, but you make me sound like an ogre, just because I made the picture small fit on the blog! ;-)

Here’s a link to the full size image and I also will add it to link from the smaller blog images in each post.

That’s actually an impression from the inside of my brain. I needed some extra cash so I let them saw me open and take a look… :-)

Matt — The inside of your brain?? Ha!! How cute! I have such a problem keeping any of the left side in my brain. I just wanna have fun! (Don’t let the grammar folks see that sentence!)

Sam — you’ve made my day with your post. Thanks so much for your kind words. Welcome to the site. I hope you learn a lot. That’s what we’re here for. Get ready for some fun!
