We hope today is a wonderful day for you!
As an added fact, February’s birthstone, the amethyst, is said to strengthen relationships and give its wearer courage. It’s not red–it’s purple–but do you HAVE to buy red for Valentine’s Day? Who says? For those of you who have jewelry sites, make note of this information!
At one time, only royalty could wear the gem. Use this as a selling point for buyers interested in buying a piece of amethyst jewelry.
Ancient Greeks thought that the amethyst guarded against intoxication. (I’m not sure where that came from . . . but . . .) Amethyst comes from amethystos, a Greek word meaning “sober.”
Okay okay. You were expecting something more romantic from the Idea Motivator? Hilary from the Weekend Gardener has created the most delightful graphic for us, and we thank her from the bottom of our pink and red hearts!! THANK YOU Hilary!
Have a wonderful day everyone.
Robin
